October MADNESS!!!

October is very crazy month in my house between Wyatt's birthday and Halloween and getting ready for winter it seems like all my time is gone before it even started. I wanted to post a great blog about my little man Wyatt and what a big year this has been for him. About all the accomplishments he has done and the things he loves, and the great blessing he has been to me and our little family. But with lack of time and words I figured I would just summarize it to his favorite things and maybe a few cute stories.

Food: Seafood Boil (as long as its not to spicy)
Vegetable: Carrots with Ranch
Fruit: Bananas
Ice Cream: Smore
Color: Black and blue
Sport to play: Soccer
Sport to watch: Football
Board game: Monopoly
Electronic game: Black
Song: Bad to the Bone
Movie: Transformer 2
Toy: Scooter and G.I Joes
Drink: Root Beer
Candy: Skittles
Holiday: Christmas
Season: Spring
School Subject: Reading
Best Friend: Grandpa Don
Thing to do: Ride 4 wheelers
Book: The 10 Best Things About My Dad

Stuff he say's that makes me smile:

Once when he was talking up a storm he stopped mid sentence and said "I get my never being quiet from my mother"

When telling Willbur about going to school... "Mom had to walk to school every single day, in three feet of snow and sandals"

Telling Willbur about the Broccoli conspiracy "Don't let mom fool you, she says they are little trees but really its a vegetable. And she says it yummy but really it taste pretty disgusting"

When trying to make me smile when Willbur was being a booger "It will be okay mom, you remember when I was little and naughty and look at me now, im big and not as naughty"

First day of First Grade " Mom don't kiss me in front of everybody they might see and throw up" (I still got my kisses though!!!)

When asked if he had homework... "No I don't have homework, I just have a book, a math paper and spelling words that I have to do before school tomorrow"

Telling about his Grandpa's garden "My Grandpa Don can grow anything, if he planted little rocks they would grow and be mountains. But my mom all she can grow is weeds and mud"

Not wanting to eat his dinner
Wyatt: I don't like this stuff
Mom: Eat it anyways
Wyatt: I don't want to
Mom: There are starving kids all over the world that would be grateful to be able to eat that
Wyatt: Good, give it to them, they can have it and I wont have to eat it

When T.V's were invented...
Wyatt: Mom, I know they didn't have TV when dad was a kid. Did they have them when you were?
Mom: Nope, we had to watch paint dry
Wyatt: Wow, you poor thing

I woke up one night to a weird sound coming from under my bed, I turned on my light and looked and it was Wyatt. When I asked him what he was doing he said he was scaring the monsters away so I wouldn't be scared. He then said that he was willing to sleep with me to protect me. He was so clever about it all that I had to let him.

When I was pregnant with Willbur and was running down the hall due to morning sickness....
Mom!!! If I have told you once I have told you a million times, DON'T RUN THROUGH THIS HOUSE!


I am so blessed that this sweet angel is mine, and am excited to see what the next year will bring. Happy Birthday Wyatt, I love you so very much... all the way to the end of time and back.
